Nature is the source of all life’s nourishment- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Nature can be a powerful teacher and reflector for us. I believe that a person’s life can be greatly enhanced through a strong relationship to Nature. The natural world is not separate from us, we are the natural world. It offers a true reflection of both the majesty and the deep dark grit of this human experience. The brightness of the full moon lifts us, the new moon helps us curl inwards and weep. The dead leaves that fall from trees in winter are the very thing that creates nourishment for the new growth in the spring. Our patterned responses to life are the same. As we release old patterns, new growth occurs.
Sitting on the land helps us remember our place in all the messiness of life. Everything has its place and time, even death. Given the right elements, healing is the natural trajectory of any system, human and nature. We can discover and feel this in my office, and you can deepen your felt sense of this through time on the land.
Outside of my office, I offer individual or group sessions in the natural world. Through sitting still in nature, holding sacred questions and returning to me, or a group, to share stories, you can find new ways of relating to your daily life and feel rejuvenated and inspired.
